Luxurious Ways to Experience Los Cabos
Posted on 01/12/2018
Located on the tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, Los Cabos' proximity to both ocean and desert landscapes make it an attractive place to visit. (That, and it’s sunny 350 days of the year.)
Home to more than 70 hotels and resorts, the area has grown significantly within the past year and has plans for continued expansion in 2018.
The area is more accessible than ever, with a lot of weekly connections flying into Los Cabos International (SJD), one of Mexico’s fastest growing airports.
There are plenty of hotels and resorts to choose from. Los Cabos offers a variety of accommodations, including European-style or boutique hotels and all-inclusive resorts. Many of these hotels are located on a 20-mile highway known as the “tourist corridor,” which connects the two cities that comprise Los Cabos: the waterfront Cabo San Lucas and the cultural center San Jose del Cabo.
Resorts along this stretch offer unobstructed views of the ocean while just a short driving distance from most of the area’s favorite activities and restaurants. Here are two luxurious accommodations to consider in Los Cabos for 2018:
The Paradisus Los Cabos is nestled in a crescent cove beach that offers spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez. Guests enjoy a wide array of services and amenities tailored for an adults-only experience or a family-oriented vacation. Out of the 350 rooms at the Paradisus, 98 feature Royal Service, which includes 24-hour butler service. Of those suites, 28 are swim-up, allowing for an unparalleled level of privacy.
For families traveling with children, the Family Concierge suites offer freedom for kids and parents. Kids’ activities are fully supervised so the adults are free to enjoy other relaxing activities on their own. A nightly turndown milk and cookies service is sure to delight children and adults alike.
Besides the luxury accommodations, Paradisus features a number of restaurants and bars as well as a spa, fitness center and planned tours and excursions.
Opening February 1, 2018, Le Blanc is a luxury hotel that boasts 373 rooms, 98 percent of which feature ocean views.
The Le Blanc brand is already well-known for its luxury accommodations—its flagship location in Cancun was named the #1 all-inclusive resort in the area by TripAdvisor. The Los Cabos location offers the same level of luxury in its rooms and its full-service spa.
Other amenities include seven restaurants featuring cuisine from around the world, six bars, 24-hour butler service as well as numerous recreational activities. The pools also allow for plenty of relaxation during your stay. The hotel’s adult-only policy makes it ideal for couples and weddings while the convention centers are perfect for hosting conferences and other meetings.
